About the Role
We're a small law firm in Westlake Village, Ca, specializing in Personal Injury law. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal / Legal Assistant to join our office.

Compensation
$30.00-$40.00 per hour (approximately $63,000.00 - $84,000.00 annually, depending on experience and hours). Compensation is competitive for the role and based on experienced.
Additionally, the person filling this role will have a lot of freedom, and will not be micromanaged.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and prepare legal documents, correspondence, and court filings.
- Manage case organization, discovery, and client files (physical and electronic).
- Schedule appointments, depositions, and court appearances.
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff.
- Support the attorney with hearing preparation and day-to-day operations.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and high ethical standards.
What we're looking for
- 2+ years of paralegal or legal assistant experience in Personal Injury law.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management software (filevine)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Local candidates or those closer to the Ventura County area are strongly preferred.
