Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and personable Server / Marketing Assistant to join our team. This role combines front-of-house service responsibilities with marketing support to enhance our wine sales and membership programs. The ideal candidate will be experienced in fine dining environments, possess wine knowledge, and be capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced setting. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences while contributing to the growth of our club memberships and sales initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and professional service to guests in a fine dining environment, ensuring an enjoyable experience.
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems, handling sales efficiently and responsibly.
- Maintain and share wine knowledge with guests to enhance their experience and promote wine sales.
- Assist in increasing wine sales through suggestive selling and personalized recommendations.
- Sign up new club members by promoting membership benefits and engaging potential clients.
- Keep up with the fast-paced nature of the job environment, managing multiple tasks seamlessly.
- Work collaboratively with a small team to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of wines and the ability to communicate this effectively to guests.
- Experience with C7 systems and processing sales transactions accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- A proactive attitude toward increasing sales and engaging with guests to promote memberships.
- Prior marketing experience in Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok
This position offers an engaging work environment where hospitality meets marketing, ideal for individuals passionate about fine dining, wines, and providing exceptional guest experiences.
Your work week will be Wednesday through Sunday, with Monday and Tuesday off.
Base pay starts at $20 per hour +tips, bonuses & commission.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36.0 – 42.0 per week
