Pay: $10.50/hour
Job Type: Part-time
Schedule: Typically 5-hour shifts; evenings, weekends, school holidays/breaks. Occasional weekdays. Typical shifts Wednesday - Sunday.

About the Role
As a Team Member at RIVALS the Blaster Basecamp, you’ll run parties from check-in to cleanup, referee games, and help create an organized, high-energy experience families can trust. Ideal candidates are high energy, outgoing, proactive, responsible, and comfortable working with both kids and parents.
What You’ll Do
As a Team Member (Gameplay, Parties & Guest Experience), you’ll be at the heart of the action:
- Referee & run foam-blaster games safely and confidently — we’ll train you!
- Engage guests — make kids, teens, and parents feel welcome and excited.
- Host parties & group events — help keep it fun, organized, and always on schedule.
- Run parties – from check in to check out, including setup, gameplay, and cleanup.
- Consistently maintain safety and cleanliness throughout the facility.
- Manage check‑in/check‑out smoothly so every visit starts and ends great, provide great customer service and answer questions.
- Keep the energy up — encourage gameplay, explain rules, and assist where needed.
- Support general floor duties – tidy arena, reset equipment, assist with basic service and cleaning tasks.
- Sell and promote merchandise and services in a friendly, approachable way.
- Be comfortable with and assisting with social media content ideation, creation and filming.
No prior foam-blaster experience required — enthusiasm and a positive attitude go a long way!
Who You Are
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
- Are 16+ and ready to work nights & weekends (most shifts occur then).
- Love interacting with people — especially kids and families.
- Have a friendly, outgoing personality and enjoy creating fun experiences.
- Are responsible, dependable, and team‑oriented.
- Are open to learning — we’ll train you on flow, safety, and gameplay.
- Have experience with kids, camps, coaching, events, team sports, or refereeing.
- More interested in leading the game than scrolling.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 16+ years old with reliable transportation.
- Must have night, weekend and school break availability.
- Energetic, outgoing, and ready to have fun.
- Strong communication skills; comfortable interacting with kids, parents and adults.
- Able to problem-solve proactively, independently and think on your feet.
