We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development, classroom management, and curriculum development, with experience working with young children in various educational settings. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills
- Plan and execute engaging lessons tailored to the developmental needs of infants and toddlers
- Manage classroom activities to ensure a positive learning environment, utilizing effective behavior management techniques
- Monitor and assess children's progress through observations and standardized testing when applicable
- Support children with special education needs and early intervention strategies to promote inclusive learning experiences
- Maintain accurate records of student development, attendance, and assessments
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and staff to support each child's welfare and educational goals
- Ensure compliance with childcare regulations, health standards, and safety protocols
- Impliment other specialized teaching methods as appropriate for the classroom setting
- Foster communication skills through storytelling, tutoring, and interactive activities and constant oral language
- Must be 19 and speak and write english fluently
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school environments
- Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices including behavior management and classroom management techniques
- Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, literacy education, math instruction, and physical education
- Familiarity with special education principles, early intervention programs, and child welfare practices
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues
- Classroom experience with toddlers, infants, or preschoolers is preferred
- Certification in early childhood education or related field is highly desirable
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs and foster an inclusive environment
- Passion for early childhood education and commitment to nurturing young learners
- Be able to work in all rooms as a team player
Pay: $17.00 - $27.00 per hour
