Optimum Home Care has shifts available in our St. Petersburg, FL location. A background check and in-service training is mandatory. Reliable transportation and smart phone are mandatory for these positions. Being able to speak Russian and or Spanish as a secondary language, with English being your primary language is a plus.
Summary
As a Caregiver/CNA, you will be essential in providing compassionate care and support to patients in various settings, including homes, group homes, and nursing facilities. Reporting to the nursing staff or care manager; your core responsibilities will include patient monitoring, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), and ensuring a safe and clean environment. Your premium skills in first aid, patient observation, and client stability will enhance the quality of care provided. With a focus on long-term care and community support, you will play a vital role in improving the well-being of those you serve.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in caregiving or as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Strong skills in patient monitoring and observation
- Knowledge of first aid and emergency response
- Experience in assisted living, group home, or nursing home settings
- Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Proficient in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in care environments
- Background in long-term care or social work is a plus
