Interested in joining one of the highest paid RBT teamin the state of Illinois? Starting pay is $30/hr with an Active RBT Certification. Ability to earn up to $36/hr on weekends. With no active RBT cert, starting pay is $28/hr with the opportunity for increase immediately upon RBT certification completion. Those with masters degrees or active Special Education teacher certifications eligible for higher starting pay.
***RBT cert or current Behavior Technician experience is required to be considered.
Current needs:
New Lenox: In-home Mon-Fri 3-5 (10 hours weekly)
Orland Park: In-home Fri & Mon 12-4pm, with Sat and Sun 5 hour sessions anytime with flexibility (18 hours weekly)
Oswego: In-home 3x week Flexible week days 3-6pm (9 hours weekly)
Naperville: In-home *temporary* mornings Aug 17-Sept 2 Mon-Fri 9-12 or 10-1, then Daily Mon-Fri 3pm-6pm upon School schedule (15 hours weekly)
Naperville: in-home Daily Mon-Fri 4-6pm (10 hours weekly)
Active RBT's preferred. We have several part time positions available that can turn into fulltime within the next 30-45 days if desired. Please do not apply if are unable to start prior to Aug 24th. Candidates that can start immediately will be preferred.
Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement behavior intervention plans designed to improve their quality of life. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, the ability to educate clients and their families, and a thorough understanding of medical documentation and HIPAA regulations. This is an in-home role.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Collect and maintain accurate data on client progress and behaviors.
- Provide direct support to clients in various settings, promoting skill acquisition and independence.
- Educate clients and their families about behavioral strategies and techniques.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist in the development of treatment goals based on client needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with other professionals involved in the client's care, including special education staff when applicable.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Experience
The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism. Preferred qualifications include:
- Active RBT Certification or willingness to obtain one
- Familiarity with medical terminology and medical records management.
- Background in special education or related fields.
- Experience providing patient care in a clinical or educational setting.
- Knowledge of medical documentation practices.
- Strong communication skills to effectively educate clients and families about behavioral interventions.
