Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Field Ambassador to fundraise at local community events. In this vital role, you will drive our fundraising initiatives by cultivating relationships to help drive the mission. Your energy and organizational skills will empower us to maximize our outreach, secure vital funding, and create lasting impacts within the communities we serve. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference while developing your expertise in nonprofit fundraising and relationship management.
Core Responsibilities
- Drive Brand Awareness: Serve as a prominent ambassador for the Children’s Cancer Society at major community events, regional festivals, and retail locations to help increase awareness of our mission and expand our community presence.
- Manage Event Setup: Set up, maintain, and down event setups, including banners, branded tents, tables, and donation stations, ensuring a professional presentation
- Maintain Compliance & Trust: Track on-site donor metrics, securely handle donations, and confidently answer public inquiries regarding the Children's Cancer Society.
- Fuel Digital Content: Capture high-quality photo and video content during live events to power our social media platforms and showcase real-time community impact.
- Build Local Partnerships: Identify and lock in new community touchpoints, local business collaborations, and campus groups to expand our national fundraising network.

**MUST HAVE PERSONAL TRANSPORTATION TO EVENT SITES**

Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 32.0 per week
