Automation Maintenance Technician l
DLN Integrated Systems is seeking an Automation Maintenance Technician to help execute the maintenance operations of a new highly automated temperature-controlled distribution center. This role requires a basic understanding of electrical and controls systems, as well as a comprehensive understanding of mechanical systems. The successful candidate will be part of a 12-man team, ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our facility. This role is well-suited for candidates who have completed a trade or vocational school program.

Essential Duties
- Under the guidance of senior level technicians, assist in a variety of maintenance activities on the material handling equipment; conveyors, trailer unloaders, palletizers/de-palletizers, carton erectors, scanners, scales, etc.
- Efficiently resolve material handling equipment issues as they arise.
- Basic understanding of utilizing PLC for troubleshooting
- Able to read CAD schematics (mechanical and electrical) and background in electrical/controls systems for troubleshooting
- 1+ years experience with Studio 5000
- During critical system issues requiring remote support, collaborate with DLNs Lifecycle Service team and vendors to efficiently troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Complete and properly report work assignment activities.
- Track spare part inventory usage to help ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Comply will all safety standards onsite.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Preferred 1-2 years of experience maintaining highly automated material handling equipment.
- Basic understanding of CAD schematics (mechanical and electrical) for troubleshooting.
- Strong background in electrical/controls systems and a solid understanding of mechanical systems.
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proven track record of successfully navigating high stress scenarios.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders or stairs for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and heights.

Pay: $24.10 - $25.57 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
