Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of HVAC systems across commercial and residential properties. Your expertise will ensure optimal indoor air quality, energy efficiency, and system reliability. Duties
- Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
- Perform electrical diagnostics and troubleshoot electrical systems within HVAC equipment using tools such as ohmmeters.
- Conduct equipment troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical systems, plumbing components, and refrigeration units to ensure optimal operation.
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance for each client site.
- Collaborate with property managers and clients to provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly.
- Use hand tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools safely to complete installations and repairs efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience in HVAC system repair, installation, maintenance, or related construction experience.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience working with HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) systems.
- Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and building automation system diagrams accurately.
- Knowledge of electrical systems diagnostics including troubleshooting electrical faults within HVAC units.
- Familiarity with refrigeration principles such as ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
- Experience with plumbing work related to HVAC systems is desirable.
- Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; additional certifications such as HVAC design or property maintenance are advantageous.
- Proficiency with hand tools, welding equipment, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools required for equipment repair.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating <PERSON> driver vehicles preferred.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in field service environments across diverse property types.

Pay: $28.07 - $40.00 per hour
