Bash Izakaya is seeking a friendly, dedicated, and service-focused server to provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating remarkable guest experiences through intention, consistency, and an unwavering attention to detail. As a server, you will play a vital role in shaping memorable moments for our guests, guiding each step of their dining journey with a genuine desire to serve, while continuing to grow your own professional expertise.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and explain menu items
- Take accurate food and beverage orders
- Enter orders into the POS system
- Deliver food and beverages promptly
- Prepare cocktails by accurately reading build cards, batching ingredients, and following recipes while maintaining consistency, speed, and cleanliness.
- Check in with guests frequently and address needs
- Remove empty plates promptly during the dining experience
- Process payments accurately
- Clear and reset tables promptly
- Follow the server manual
- Work collaboratively with kitchen, sushi bar, and front-of-house staff
Experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must meet the minimum legal age (18) required to serve alcohol
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professional and clean appearance and positive attitude
- Basic math skills for handling payments
- Prior serving experience preferred but not required
- Full time preferred, but part-time is available
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and crouch down (traditional seating area) for extended periods
- Ability to carry trays and lift up to 25 lbs
