Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and identify their needs through active listening and engaging conversation
- Demonstrate mobile devices, accessories, and related products to highlight features and benefits
- Assist customers with retail sales transactions using POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring accurate cash register operations and cash handling
- Upsell additional products and services by understanding customer preferences and explaining value propositions
- Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and merchandising products to maximize visual appeal
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or scheduling appointments
- Conduct product demos to educate customers about device functionalities and new features
- Support store operations by handling cash drawer balancing, basic math calculations, and retail math tasks accurately
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in cellular or electronics retail environments
- Knowledge of POS systems, cash register operations, and retail transactions required
- Familiarity with merchandising, stock management, and product demos essential for success in this role
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional phone etiquette approach
- Ability to handle cash handling responsibilities accurately while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills necessary for retail math calculations and cash drawer handling
- Passion for technology and retail sales with a proactive attitude toward upselling and customer engagement
The job Is 40 hours a week. We are open Monday through Saturday. The shift will be 10 hour days only 4 days a week. We have 3 different locations. Employees will work at all 3 locations in the month. Our locations are Madison, Flowood and Ridgeland.
After the 90 day probationary period, you can make commission.
