Qualifications and Experience:
- Current license or eligibility for speech-language pathology in Texas
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Familiarity with IEPs, progress reports, and assessment procedures
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to monitor progress and adapt interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation of interventions, sessions, and progress reports
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide consultation as needed
- Provide support and education to staff and families regarding communication disorders and strategies
- Engage students in targeted activities that promote positive communication outcomes
