Overview
We are looking for a technician with proven experience in repairing Apple and Android cell phones to join our team, you will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of smartphones, tablets, and other mobile devices. Your expertise will ensure customers leave with their devices functioning flawlessly, boosting their productivity and connectivity. Duties
- Perform detailed diagnostics on mobile devices running Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows operating systems to identify hardware and software issues.
- Repair or replace damaged screens, batteries, charging ports, cameras, and other components using hand tools and soldering techniques.
- Conduct software troubleshooting including operating system reinstallation, updates, and resolving software conflicts.
- Use specialized equipment to test device functionality after repairs, ensuring optimal performance.
- Provide technical support to customers both in-store and through field service visits, explaining repair processes clearly.
- Maintain accurate repair logs and documentation for each device serviced, ensuring quality control and traceability.
Skills
- Proficiency with Android, iOS, macOS, Windows operating systems, and mobile device hardware.
- Experience with hand tools such as screwdrivers, spudgers, tweezers, and multimeters for precise repairs.
- Excellent analysis skills to quickly identify root causes of hardware or software failures.
- Knowledge of equipment repair procedures specific to mobile devices and electronic components.
- Customer service skills combined with retail sales experience to assist clients effectively during repairs or product inquiries.
