American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Hematology/Oncology Infusion position at a cancer center, requiring an ONS Chemo/Bio certification and recent trauma experience.

Hematology/Oncology Infusion suite within a cancer center
-
30-bed/chair infusion unit serving approximately 70 patients per day
-
Patient population includes hematology and oncology patients receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, and other non-chemotherapy medications
-
Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week

Active NH or Compact RN license required

Current BLS and ONS Chemo/Bio Card certifications required

Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required

2 managerial references required for consideration

Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Responsibilities include administration of chemotherapy and immunotherapy, patient assessment and education, side effect management, monitoring, and emotional support

IV skills and mediport access experience are preferred but not required

Pediatric hematology/oncology experience is preferred but not required
