Job Summary
Yardful Lawn Services is hiring an experienced Lawn Mowing Technician to perform routine lawn maintenance services for residential and commercial properties. This role requires strong attention to detail, punctuality, physical stamina, and the ability to meet daily production deadlines while maintaining consistent service quality.
The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and flexible, with a willingness to support additional landscaping tasks and extended work hours when operational needs require.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform lawn mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing services according to company standards and customer specifications.
- Ensure complete and uniform mowing of all designated turf areas, leaving no sections unfinished or improperly serviced.
- Leave job sites neat and professional upon completion.
- Operate commercial lawn care equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance, including:
- Greasing and lubrication
- Blade sharpening and inspection
- Basic mower, trimmer, and blower upkeep
- Assisting with truck and trailer cleanliness and basic maintenance checks
- Follow assigned daily routes and complete scheduled jobs without postponement unless authorized by management.
- Meet productivity expectations and complete work within industry-standard timeframes.
- Support ad-hoc landscaping and property maintenance tasks as required, including weeding, shrub trimming, mulch spreading, planting assistance, and seasonal cleanup.
- Report to work on time daily and be ready to begin operations as scheduled.
- Demonstrate flexibility to work additional hours to meet customer and business demands.
- Communicate job progress, property issues, equipment concerns, or customer requests to the crew lead or operations team.
- Represent Yardful Lawn Services professionally at all job sites.
- Comply with company policies, safety procedures, and applicable Texas labor laws and workplace regulations.
- Minimum 2–3 years of prior experience in lawn mowing, landscaping, or grounds maintenance.
- Proven ability to operate commercial lawn care equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong understanding of efficient mowing patterns, edging standards, and job completion expectations.
- Ability to work outdoors in Texas weather conditions, including heat and humidity.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual labor throughout the workday.
- English is required for job communication and safety instructions; Spanish is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong attendance record, punctuality, and commitment to completing assigned work.
- Willingness to accept ad hoc requests and work extended hours when required.
