VSSI Staffing is currently hiring PC Repair Technicians in Grapevine, TX. This position is ideal for candidates with experience diagnosing, repairing, and troubleshooting laptops and computer hardware in a fast-paced production environment.
Schedule
- 1st Shift: Monday–Friday (occasional Saturdays) | 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM | $16.00/hr
- Mid Shift: Monday–Friday (occasional Saturdays) | 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM | $16.50/hr
- Must complete a two-week training period on 1st Shift before transitioning to Mid Shift.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair laptops and computer hardware
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Disassemble and reassemble laptops and computer components
- Replace defective parts and perform multi-part repairs
- Install and reload operating systems and software
- Conduct final testing and quality checks on repaired units
- Analyze failed equipment and determine repairability
- Meet daily productivity and quality standards
- Document repairs and follow established repair procedures
- Handle escalated and complex repair cases
Requirements
- Experience repairing laptops, desktops, or other computer hardware
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Experience with hardware replacement and system testing
- Knowledge of operating systems and software installations
- Ability to use small hand tools and perform detailed repair work
- Comfortable working in a production-based environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail
