We're looking for a dependable, hardworking Automotive Shop Assistant to support our growing automotive repair shop and used car dealership. If you enjoy working around vehicles, like learning new skills, and aren't afraid to get your hands dirty, we'd love to meet you!
Responsibilities
- Assist technicians with daily shop operations
- Wash, detail, and prepare vehicles for sale and customer delivery
- Perform shop cleaning and general maintenance
- Maintain and organize tools and equipment
- Run business-related errands as needed
- Help keep inventory, supplies, and work areas organized
- Perform basic maintenance tasks around the shop
- Assist with loading, moving, and organizing vehicles
- Support the team wherever needed to keep operations running smoothly
Qualifications
- Automotive knowledge or repair experience is a plus, but not required
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Mechanically inclined and eager to learn
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable, accountable, and punctual
- Respectful, professional, and a team player
- Positive attitude and willingness to take initiative
- Able to follow instructions and work independently
- Must be able to work weekend shifts
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a huge plus
