Are you a dedicated, compassionate Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant looking to make a difference in patients’ lives? We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and skilled Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient therapy team. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with licensed Physical Therapist to provide individualized treatment plans that help patients improve mobility, restore function, and achieve their goals in a supportive and patient-centered environment. Kempton Physical Therapy is an Outpatient Physical Therapy Clinic that puts both patients and staff at the heart of our brand. We know time with your family and hobbies are important so we work a 40 hour week and we’re closed on weekends.
Our patient demographic ranges from young kids (10+), to elder individuals with emphasis on orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation.
What We Are Looking For:
- Therapist Assistant with a passion for patient care, and for helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals. Carry out treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Deliver high-quality therapeutic exercise, functional training, and patient education. Apply manual therapy techniques within PTA scope of practice and clinic protocols.
- Strong communication skills, positive attitude, and ability to work closely with patients and staff. Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Empathetic, patient, hard working, and proactive in developing and adjusting treatment plans. Maintain a positive patient experience and contribute to clinic growth and teamwork.
- Experience with a range of therapies and techniques. Manual therapy a plus.
