Strategos International is seeking part-time Armed Protection Specialists for our weekends nights to serve at a large, high-profile mega church in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
This is not a typical security position.
This role is designed for professionals who are called to:

You will be part of a highly trained team responsible for ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for thousands of attendees, staff, and families.

Nights
- Saturday: 7:00pm – 7:00am
- Sunday: 7:00pm - 7:00am
Elite Training Requirement (Paid)
This is not entry-level training. It is a next-level professional development program with next-level expectations, designed to prepare you to operate at the highest standard in the industry.
Training includes:
- Extensive firearms proficiency and decision-making under stress
- Crisis medical care and emergency response
- Protector mindset and ethics
- Use of force and legal application
- Active threat and tactical response training
- Compliance, control, and de-escalation techniques
- Scenario-based, real-world training environments
Only candidates who successfully meet Strategos training and performance standards will be assigned to this project.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide visible, professional armed protection for staff, guests, and facilities
- Act as a first responder to incidents and emergencies
- Conduct proactive threat detection and behavioral observation
- Monitor access control, surveillance systems, and campus activity
- Perform foot and vehicle patrols across a large campus
- Communicate clearly with leadership, team members, and emergency services
- Maintain a high level of readiness to respond to life-threatening situations
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in:
- Armed Security
- Law Enforcement
- Military (Combat Arms preferred)
- Strong situational awareness and decision-making under pressure
- Professional presence that inspires confidence and authority
- High level of integrity, discipline, and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and physical fitness test
Licensing Requirement
- Must possess or be able to obtain a Texas Level III Armed Security License
- License must be obtained no later than June 1, 2026
Physical Requirements
This is an active protection role. Candidates must be able to:
- Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods, including 12-hour shifts
- Respond rapidly to emergencies, including running and climbing stairs
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds and assist in emergency situations
- Maintain situational awareness in high-traffic and high-stress environments
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
