Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily activities that promote infant development, including sensory play, motor skills, and language acquisition
- Provide attentive care to infants, ensuring their safety, comfort, and emotional security at all times
- Support feeding routines, diapering, and nap schedules in accordance with health and safety guidelines
- Engage children with age-appropriate activities that encourage exploration and learning
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to health regulations and safety standards
- Observe and document each child's progress, behaviors, and needs to inform ongoing care plans
- Collaborate with team members to create individualized care strategies for children with special needs or disabilities
Skills
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices for infant care
- Experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or nannying settings
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment
- Ability to perform first aid and CPR in emergency situations (certification preferred)
- Familiarity with special education techniques and working with individuals with disabilities
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members
- Demonstrated caregiving abilities with patience, empathy, and attentiveness to children's needs

Pay: $12.00 - $15.50 per hour
