We are seeking a K2 Lead Teacher to nurture young children, spiritual, emotional, social, and academic growth in a faith-centered classroom. This role serves as both educator and spiritual guide, creating a safe, loving, andChrist-centered environment where children can thrive.
Core Responsibilities
- Faith Integration: Incorporate Bible stories, prayer, worship songs, and Christian values into daily routines,helping children understand God’s love and teachings.
- Curriculum Planning: Develop and implement developmentally appropriate lessons across language arts, math,science, social studies, and social-emotional learning, woven together with biblical principles.
- Child Development: Observe and assess each child’s cognitive, social, emotional, spiritual, and physical growth,and communicate progress to parents with care and encouragement.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive classroom, guiding behavior with positive reinforcement.
- Staff Collaboration: Supervise and mentor the assistant teacher and any classroom volunteers, fostering teamwork and unity grounded in Christian values.
Qualifications and Skills
- Faith Commitment: A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a lifestyle consistent with Christian values is essential.
- Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred; experience in a Christian preschool setting is a plus.
