Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our growing plumbing business . In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will ensure that all plumbing work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and gas piping systems in accordance with construction plans and schematics.
- Read blueprints and schematics accurately to determine the layout of plumbing systems and ensure proper installation.
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and soldering techniques to complete plumbing tasks efficiently and safely.
- Ensure all work adheres to local building codes, plumbing building codes, and safety regulations throughout each project phase.
- Perform routine maintenance and repair of existing plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Collaborate with construction teams, carpenters, HVAC technicians, and field service personnel to coordinate installation activities on-site.
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment while following safety protocols to prevent injuries during construction or repair tasks.
Skills
- Proven construction experience with a strong understanding of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Ability to read construction plans, schematics, and blueprints accurately.
- Skilled in pipe installation, pipe threading, soldering, and working with gas piping systems.
- Knowledge of plumbing building codes, local building codes, mechanical knowledge, and safety regulations.
- Experience with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO), system troubleshooting, and plumbing system maintenance.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, HVAC components, carpentry basics, and handyman skills for remodeling or assembly projects.
- Excellent customer service skills for interacting professionally with clients or project managers on-site.
- Clean driving and criminal record.

Pay: From $38.00 per hour
