Responsibilities:
What You'll Get To Do:

Respond promptly and appropriately to security incidents, fire alarms, emergencies, and other unusual situations in accordance with established procedures.

Report to assigned shifts on time and prepared for duty, including wearing the required uniform and utilizing assigned equipment.

Execute general and post-specific orders while maintaining compliance with company policies, site requirements, and contract standards.

Communicate effectively and professionally via radio, telephone, and face-to-face interactions.

Control and monitor access to facilities, ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors enter designated areas.

Escort employees, visitors, contractors, government personnel, and members of the public as required.

Conduct routine security patrols, inspections, and safety checks to identify and report potential security or safety concerns.

Maintain the cleanliness, professional appearance, and operational readiness of assigned uniforms and equipment.

Provide outstanding customer service by professionally greeting, assisting, and interacting with employees, visitors, government representatives, and the public.

Remain calm, composed, and decisive while responding to stressful, emergency, or high-pressure situations.

Responds with the appropriate measure to security and fire alarms.
Qualifications:
You'll Bring These Qualifications:

Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a security, law enforcement, force protection, or related protective services role.

Possess and maintain a valid California Security Guard Registration ("Guard Card") issued by the California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS).

Must be at least 21 years of age.

High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate required.

Possess and maintain a valid REAL ID-compliant driver's license.
-
Must be able to obtain and maintain Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12) credentials.

Ability to successfully complete all required background investigations, drug screenings, and training requirements.

Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge of security operations, access control procedures, and facility protection practices.

Knowledge of emergency response protocols, incident management, and life safety procedures.

Knowledge of EMT principles, patient assessment, and emergency medical response techniques.
