American Traveler is hiring a Travel CT Technologist for an evening shift position in a hospital-based CT Scan unit, requiring ARRT (CT) certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Hospital-based CT Scan department with 18 beds and a team of 8 imaging staff including radiologists, CT techs, MRI techs, and ultrasound techs

Patient ratio of 1:1 or 1:2 depending on patient stability
-
Procedures include CT scans, MRI, body scanning, and X-rays
-
All GE equipment in use, including MRI units, scanners, cameras, X-ray, and fluoroscopy

EMR system is Meditech; experience with Meditech strongly preferred
-
Evening shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
-
Every other weekend required

13-week contract
-
Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience, with active experience within the last 6 months

ARRT (CT) and BLS required
-
Experience with GE equipment and Meditech strongly preferred

RT(T) and ASRT membership preferred; FASRT preferred
-
US SSN and DOB required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted

Two professional references required (Florida state requirement)

License required if applicable

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Performs CT scans and imaging procedures to create detailed pictures of bones, organs, and tissues for diagnostic assessment

Strong communication skills, medical and anatomical knowledge, and mechanical aptitude are key attributes for success in this role

Ability to multi-task and collaborate with a variety of physicians, radiologists, and patients

Navy blue scrubs required

The facility features a newly added 1.2 million dollar state-of-the-art computed tomography scanner

Facility is a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center and recipient of the American Heart Association Gold Plus Achievement Award
