Part-Time Art Instructor (In-Person – Southwest Aurora, CO)
We are a growing children’s art studio dedicated to building strong artistic skills while fostering creativity and confidence. Our structured, multi-year curriculum introduces students to a wide range of mediums and techniques in a supportive, engaging environment.
We’re looking for a passionate and reliable Art Instructor who enjoys working with students of all ages—from preschool through adults.
What You’ll Do
- Teach engaging, structured art classes (up to 12 students per class)
- Guide students in drawing, painting, and mixed media techniques
- Provide individual instruction and encouragement during class
- Prepare lesson materials based on provided curriculum
- Maintain a positive, organized classroom environment
- Communicate with parents regarding student progress when needed
- Assist with workshops, events, and seasonal programs
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or related field
- Strong knowledge of art techniques and materials
- 5 years experience working with children or teaching groups
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Preferred:
- Teaching certification
- Portfolio demonstrating artistic ability
- Experience with structured art curriculum

Schedule
- Part-time (evenings/weekends as needed)

About Our Program
We provide a comprehensive, skill-based art education covering over 40 areas including drawing, painting, sculpture, and more. Our approach balances technical skill development with creative exploration, helping students build confidence and a lifelong appreciation for art.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3 – 10 per week
