Overview
Join our team as a Non Emergency Transportation Contract Driver and become a vital part of providing safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation services to those in need. In this important role, you will operate your own vehicle to transport clients such as seniors, individuals going to dialysis and other life sustaining appointments, or those requiring medical appointments, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
This position requires you to use your own vehicle which should be 2014 or newer, 4 door car, SUV or minivan.
Duties
- Safely operate your vehicle in accordance with traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Assist passengers with getting in/out of your car, communicate with them before pickup, confirm appointment times for pickup and safely transport them to their destination.
- Follow all transportation safety regulations, maintain items that are provided to you as part of our broker requirements, utilize our app for scheduled rides, and communicate with dispatch using web techology.
- Respond quickly to traffic changes or route adjustments while maintaining excellent customer service and communication with passengers.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with passengers, managing behavior when necessary, and addressing special needs or concerns professionally.
Skills
- Proven experience driving using safe practices.
- Knowledge of traffic laws, vehicle operation codes, and transportation safety regulations applicable at state and local levels.
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse communities.
- Defensive driving skills combined with quick response capabilities to traffic changes ensure passenger safety at all times.
- Excellent technology skills utilizing apps to navigate and work.

Pay: $650.00 - $1,100.00 per week
