Job Title: Kitchen Lead – Craft Beer & Gaming Pub
Pay: $18.00 – $21.00 / hour (Based on experience) + Perks
Job Type: Part-time (20-25 hours/wk)

Books & Brews is a casual craft beer tavern and board game community hub. We serve great craft drinks alongside a streamlined menu of pub favorites, sandwiches, and sharable snacks. We offer a low-stress, fun kitchen environment without the high-volume chaos of traditional large restaurants.
What You'll Do:
Cook & Prep (70%): Lead the line during peak hours, prep quality menu items, and ensure food safety compliance.
Kitchen Management (30%): Manage food inventory, clean and maintain equipment, test new menu items, assist with food/supplies orders, maintain food cost targets, and schedule prep tasks.
Menu Collaboration: Work with management to design seasonal specials, event platters, or game-themed menu items.
What We’re Looking For:
ServSafe Manager certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
Strong reliability, communication, and basic organizational skills.
Passion for craft beer, board games, or pop culture is a huge plus!
