Responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of espresso, milk steaming, and drink consistency
- Friendly, guest-focused attitude with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to company standards.
- Operate POS systems such as TOAST for order processing and payments.
- Team-oriented and dependable
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, equipment, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards.
- Restock supplies as needed and assist in food preparation when required.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista or in the food industry, with knowledge of coffee preparation and food handling.
- 3+ years of barista experience (specialty coffee experience required)
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Flexible schedule
- Weekend availability is preferred.
- Basic math skills for retail math, coffee operations, and cash handling accuracy.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food preparation techniques.
