Job Description
This is a hybrid position that combines remote work with regular travel throughout an assigned territory. The ideal candidate is a proven relationship builder who thrives in the field, enjoys meeting with education leaders, and has a track record of generating new business opportunities.
We are seeking experienced "Rain Makers" to join our team as Regional Business Development Representatives. This role is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new school district partnerships while serving as a trusted resource to district leaders. Success in this position requires a consultative sales approach, strong knowledge of the K-12 education landscape, and the ability to build long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
Once new partnerships are established, the Regional Business Development Representative will oversee the onboarding process and collaborate with internal teams to ensure every new customer receives an exceptional experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities with public, private, and charter schools throughout an assigned territory.
- Travel regularly to meet with prospective school districts, conduct in-person sales meetings, and build relationships with district leaders.
- Attend school board meetings, educational conferences, networking events, and community outreach activities to promote Sub Teacher Source and expand brand awareness.
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to secure new school district partnerships.
- Present customized staffing solutions that address each district's unique workforce needs.
- Manage the onboarding process for newly acquired clients and partner with internal teams to ensure a seamless transition.
- Maintain ongoing account management and cultivate long-term client relationships.
- Represent Sub Teacher Source as a professional ambassador within the education community.
- Perform any additional business development, networking, or relationship-building activities necessary to secure new school district partners and support continued company growth.
Qualifications:

- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRMs.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to travel as business needs require.
