Underground utility company is hiring laborers, experience preferred, to work in North Central Mississippi. Applicants must have a valid driver's license and be able to be insured by company's insurance carrier. Pre-employment drug test & physical is required.
Applicants must be able to perform the following:
- Hand dig to expose utilities
- Shoveling, sweeping, loading/unloading supplies & equipment, preparing work areas for construction
- Ground leveling and job site clean-up
- Operate hand & power tools and perform daily equipment maintenance
- Assist foreman & equipment operators in spotting utilities
Applicants should have these qualifications:
- Experience performing various tasks such as shoveling, sweeping, preparing work areas, job site clean-up
- Able to perform physical demands of the job including lifting heavy objects, walking/standing for long periods of time
- Ability to perform essential functions safely in various weather conditions
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
