Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our dynamic food and beverage team. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, and OpenTable reservations efficiently to optimize table turnover
- Assist with food safety practices, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures in accordance with health regulations
- Support other team members by bussing tables, refilling supplies, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations management
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to multitask effectively with strong time management skills during busy hours
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for understanding food preparation and presentation standards
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and accurate bill splitting
- Previous host/hostess or serving experience is desirable but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential
