Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest issues and determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Apply chemical agents safely and accurately, following all pesticide management protocols and chemical handling guidelines.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, ladders, and farm machinery to access hard-to-reach areas such as confined spaces or elevated structures.
- Implement integrated pest management strategies that combine chemical treatments with physical barriers, habitat modification, and exclusion techniques.
- Educate clients on pest prevention practices, including lawn care, landscaping, farming techniques, and general property maintenance.
- Maintain detailed records of treatments performed, chemicals used, safety procedures followed, and client interactions.
- Adhere to all safety protocols including ladder safety procedures, respiratory protection measures, confined space entry safety procedures, and proper use of personal protective equipment.
Qualifications
- Prior experience or training in pest control, entomology, agriculture, landscaping, or related fields such as farming or lawn care is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of pesticide management laws and safe chemical handling practices.
- Familiarity with integrated pest management principles and environmental safety standards.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and other equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong understanding of ladder safety procedures and respiratory protection requirements.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate company vehicles responsibly.
- Excellent communication skills for client education and team collaboration.
