Pre-Licensed Clinician: Master's Level
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Pre-Licensed Clinician to join our team at Albert Knapp & Associates in Redondo Beach, CA. As a Pre-Licensed Clinician, you will work alongside our team of mental health professionals to provide evidence-based play therapy for children and teens with autism, ADHD, and other neurodivergent conditions. Responsibilities:
Conduct play therapy sessions with children and teens to treat their cognitive, emotional, and social functioning
Collaborate with parents and caregivers to develop individualized treatment plans and provide ongoing support and guidance
Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to design and implement effective treatment plans
Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay current on best practices and research-based interventions
Requirements:
Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or related field that is elgible for licensure as a MFT, LPCC, LEP, or LCSW.
Preference given to those who have worked with children but not experience necessary
Knowledge of evidence-based play therapy and CBT techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively with children, teens, and families from diverse backgrounds
Strong organizational and time management skills
Must like dogs (5lb yorkie works at the office)
