Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, including host/hostess duties when needed
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Serve food and drinks professionally, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, adhering to all safety and sanitation standards
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales revenue
- Process cash transactions and credit card payments efficiently while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations through bussing and sanitation practices
- Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or high-volume settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; OpenTable experience is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately
- Beverage knowledge including spirits, wine, cocktail preparation, and drink service techniques
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Previous experience in culinary or kitchen settings is advantageous but not required
