Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Team Lead in Housekeeping to oversee daily cleaning operations within our hospitality or commercial environment. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and thoroughly.
- Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
- Monitor cleaning quality across all assigned areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, laundry facilities, and other designated zones.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular inspections to uphold cleanliness standards and address any deficiencies promptly.
- Manage inventory levels for cleaning supplies, linens, and janitorial equipment; place orders as needed.
- Foster a positive team environment through motivation, feedback, and recognition of staff achievements.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning operations, including janitorial or custodial work within hospitality or commercial settings.
- Strong staff supervision and team management skills with previous supervising experience preferred.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
- Familiarity with safety regulations related to chemical handling and workplace safety standards.
- Excellent leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and develop team members.
- Experience in hotel or hospitality housekeeping management is highly desirable.
- Ability to organize tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
