We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – MICU for a 13-week travel assignment in a high-acuity hospital setting. This opportunity is ideal for ICU nurses with strong critical care experience who thrive in fast-paced environments and are committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
- Specialty: Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
- Location: Cleveland, Ohio
- Shift: Night Shift – 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Duration: 13 Weeks
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the MICU
- Monitor, assess, and manage patients with complex medical conditions
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and critical care treatments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and emergency situations
- Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record system
- Float to ICU units and Emergency Department holds as required
- Minimum 18 months of recent Critical Care/ICU experience
- Previous permanent ICU experience required prior to travel assignments
- Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License required
- AHA BLS Certification required
- AHA ACLS Certification required
- Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification preferred
- Previous experience in multiple ICU settings preferred
