American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position at a Level 2 Trauma Center in Jersey City, NJ, requiring both circulating and scrubbing skills with robotic and multi-specialty OR experience.

Hospital-based Operating Room setting at a Level 2 Trauma Center

Patient mix includes all OR specialties except open heart surgery, including ortho, vascular, general, thoracic, and neuro cases

Robotic and ENT surgical cases are part of the caseload
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30

On-call required twice per scheduling period

Charting system: Epic
-
13-week contract
-
Active NJ or Compact RN license required
-
Current BLS certification required
-
Minimum 2 years of current acute care OR experience required
-
Must be proficient in both circulating and scrubbing roles
-
Robotic surgery and ENT experience required

Experience in ortho, vascular, general, thoracic, and neuro OR cases required

SSN and DOB required for consideration

Two current professional references required

Scrubs are provided by the facility

Former RWJBH staff (full-time or PRN) must have been separated from the RWJBH health system for a minimum of 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment

Due to the World Cup games in June and July in NJ, recommended housing areas include Staten Island, Montclair, West Orange, and Belleville
