Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Controller, your primary duties will include:
1. Overseeing the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives.
2. Directing and coordinating all financial planning and budget management functions.
3. Managing the preparation of all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, reports to shareholders, tax returns, and reports for government regulatory agencies.
4. Overseeing accounting operations related to our manufacturing activities, including detailed review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and analysis of results.
5. Developing and implementing robust internal controls and financial procedures.
6. Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements.
7. Coordinating audits and proper filing of tax returns.
8. Working with senior teams to grow the business by formulating strategies and plans.
9. Leading and motivating the finance team to ensure a high level of performance and employee engagement.
10. Managing the calculation and issuance of bonus payments.
11. Utilizing autosoft software for various accounting and financial operations.
Qualifications:
Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration. CPA, CMA, or other relevant certification is highly desirable.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position, preferably in the automotive industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
4. Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.
5. Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g., SAP, autosoft).
6. An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
7. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
8. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
9. A proven track record of managing multiple stakeholders and projects.
