Our client is a well-established manufacturer specializing in high-quality commercial equipment, offering stable employment and opportunities for growth. They are seeking a Electrical Engineering Technician to join their team.
Your day-to-day as a Electrical Engineering Technician:
- Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and engineering instructions for product assembly
- Assemble and test electrical systems and prototypes using hand tools and measuring instruments
- Develop and execute diagnostic tests to troubleshoot and resolve design or component issues
- Collaborate with production teams to provide guidance on wiring procedures and resolve electrical problems
- Maintain accurate documentation of testing, design changes, and technical records
- Support engineering projects from initial design through to production implementation
Your skills and experience:
- Associate degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
- Proficiency with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks Electrical
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards such as NEC
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Demonstrated initiative, reliability, and strong work ethic
- Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferred
