This role is perfect for those who thrive in a team-oriented setting but can also work independently to meet production goals.
Responsibilities of the Manufacturing 2nd shift
Support the company's mission and objectives.
Pick up, count, and package wholesale bags, ensuring order accuracy.
Ensure packages are neat in appearance before casing.
Follow and support all departmental goals and procedures.
Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with team members and supervisors.
Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Weigh, label, and seal cases manually or using a sealing/taping machine.
Operate machinery such as Rennco, Stretch Wrapper, and paper baler.
Adhere to all company-wide safety programs and protocols.
Efficiently stack case goods onto pallets.
Requirements of the Manufacturing 2nd shift
Ability to follow verbal instructions in English.
Capability to stand for 8 hours per day and perform physical tasks such as bending, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and pack up to 300 wholesale bags per hour.
Proficiency in reading and understanding English documents required for job functions.
Competence in using a calculator and measuring accurately.
High attention to detail and ability to count to 420.
Ability to write legibly and repeatedly use hands and arms.
Must be able to read a weight scale.
