Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Car Wash Maintenance Apprentice. This role offers an exciting opportunity for growth and development within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
· Perform routine inspections of facilities to identify broken machinery or equipment requiring repair.
· Assist with preventive maintenance (PM) on car wash systems and other facility equipment.
· Complete maintenance logs and work tickets in a clear, accurate, and timely manner.
· Utilize mechanical skills, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical systems, pneumatics, HVAC, hydraulics, carpentry, and troubleshooting.
· Contribute to new construction projects and the installation of new equipment.
· Read, interpret, and follow manuals and technical instructions to properly maintain and install equipment.
· Maintain tools and testing equipment in an organized, professional manner.
· Learn and apply technical knowledge, including PLCs, low voltage, and 3-phase power systems, as needed.
· Ensure compliance with safety regulations, maintaining a clean and orderly work environment, including the service truck.
· Assist with deliveries when required, supporting team efforts as needed.
· Report issues clearly and accurately, ensuring effective communication with the team.
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
· Ability to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat (over 100°F) and cold (below freezing), both outdoors and within mechanical rooms.
· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
· Must be comfortable with bending, kneeling, stooping, crawling, climbing, and performing physically demanding tasks.
· Availability to work a flexible schedule, typically 45-50 hours per week, with one weekend per month on-call.
Qualifications:
· Strong desire to learn and develop technical skills across multiple trades.
· Effective communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
· Must have reliable transportation to report to designated pick-up points.
· Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record.
· Ability to pass a background check and drug/alcohol screening.
