Responsibilities
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to accurately pick, pack, and process orders efficiently.
- Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and effectively.
- Handle inventory management tasks including stock replenishment, cycle counting, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Ensure proper packaging of products to prevent damage during transit while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Load and unload shipments using appropriate equipment, ensuring safe manual handling practices and heavy lifting techniques.
- Follow barcode scanning procedures for logistics accuracy during shipping & receiving processes.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace in compliance with safety regulations and PPE requirements to promote a safe working environment.
Experience
- Prior warehouse experience is highly preferred, especially in distribution or logistics environments.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers is essential.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems, and barcode scanning technology is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently with heavy lifting involved.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to warehouse operations including PPE use and heavy equipment operation.
- Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail in order fulfillment, quality control, and stock management.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting, measurements, and order accuracy are required.
