Responsibilities
- Operate various warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials efficiently.
- Safely handle inventory stock and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Prepare orders by picking, packing, and staging items for shipping or delivery while adhering to safety regulations and quality standards.
- Load and unload delivery trucks with heavy materials using appropriate heavy equipment operation techniques while following OSHA safety protocols.
- Conduct regular inventory management activities such as stock counting, cycle counts, and updating inventory records to maintain optimal warehouse accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures by using personal protective equipment (PPE), following OSHA guidelines, and adhering to warehouse safety protocols at all times.
- Drive company vehicles to deliver products to clients or distribution centers while maintaining a clean driving record and practicing safe driving habits.
Requirements
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely while following proper techniques.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting, order processing, and measurements.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with delivery driving preferred.
- Familiarity with safety regulations including OSHA standards and proper use of PPE.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in stock stocking, order picking & packing, shipping & receiving processes.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining high safety standards and operational efficiency.
