Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, social and emotional development and physical educaiton.
- Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and social-emotional development.
- Manage daily classroom activities, ensuring smooth transitions and effective behavior management strategies are in place.
- Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address individual needs, and support their overall welfare.
- Incorporate specialized techniques such as special education strategies and early intervention practices to support diverse learners.
- Maintain accurate records of student development, assessments, and standardized testing results to monitor progress and inform instruction.
- Lead classroom management efforts to foster positive behavior and promote respectful interactions among children.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in preschool or early childhood settings, including classroom management and lesson planning.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and early intervention techniques.
- Familiarity with special education practices, behavior management strategies, and literacy education methodologies such as Montessori.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and administrators.
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging lesson plans that incorporate math, physical education, daycare activities, and tutoring techniques.
