Summary :
The Psychiatric Technician will have some training or experience in caring for behavioral health patients. The psychiatric tech must possess a high school diploma and must have BHP training or a minimum of 2 years psych tech experience. MOAB training to include instructor certification (within 90 days of hire)The Psychiatric Technician will be given the opportunity to explore a variety of patient care experiences, including co-facilitating treatment activities, understanding the concept of milieu and working within an inter-disciplinary team. As the Psychiatric Technician gains experience, he/she will be given increased responsibilities in providing patient care. Performs any duties and/or responsibilities assigned by Manager or Supervisor for which qualified.
