Responsibilities
- Develop and implement IEPs and individualized instruction.
- Adapt curriculum to meet diverse learning needs.
- Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior supports.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families.
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and parent communication.
- Maintain compliance with IDEA and state special education regulations.
Position Details
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Contract position with renewal potential
- Elementary, Middle, and High School openings
- Autism-focused classroom settings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education
- Active, pending, or eligible NC Special Education license
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
