Job Summary
Little Miracles Daycare & Preschool is seeking a passionate, dependable, and nurturing Lead Preschool Teacher to join our growing team. This position is responsible for leading our 3-year-old classroom while creating a safe, engaging, and faith-based learning environment that prepares children for future academic success.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the 3-year-old classroom
- Implement age-appropriate academic and Christian curriculum activities
- Foster a positive, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
- Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
- Maintain classroom schedules, lesson plans, and daily routines
- Conduct daily circle time, learning activities, arts and crafts, and outdoor play
- Communicate professionally with parents regarding their child's development and daily activities
- Ensure classroom compliance with all state licensing regulations and center policies
- Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers assigned to the classroom
- Assist with diapering, toileting, meal service, and other classroom needs as necessary
- Support center-wide activities, events, and special programs
- Help execute the vision, mission, and standards established by ownership
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a licensed childcare setting required
- Experience leading a classroom preferred
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and parent relationship skills
- Warm, patient, and nurturing personality
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for early childhood education and kindergarten readiness

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

- Do you currently have CPR/First Aid certification for infants and children?

- Have you previously served as a Lead Teacher or managed a classroom independently?
