Job Summary:
As a Dietary Aide at Avir at Hearne, you will play a vital role in ensuring the nutritional well-being of our residents in Hearne, TX. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our culinary team in providing exceptional food service and support to our residents. Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning, preparation, and serving of meals to residents, ensuring a high level of quality and presentation
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
Assist with menu planning, food ordering, and inventory management to ensure efficient and cost-effective food service operations
Collaborate with other department staff to ensure seamless food service delivery
Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and staff, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner
Participate in meal delivery, tray management, and dietary support as needed
Maintain accurate records and reports, including meal service logs and inventory reports
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or a related field preferred
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with others
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform other physical demands of the job
