Summary:
Labette Health is seeking a compassionate and motivated PRN LPN or RN to join our Wound Care Clinic team. This position plays an important role in supporting patients through specialized wound treatment and ongoing care in a collaborative outpatient setting.
This is a great opportunity for a nurse who enjoys building relationships with patients, working closely with providers, and being part of a team focused on healing and positive outcomes.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with wound assessments, treatments, and dressing changes
- Supporting providers during patient visits and procedures
- Educating patients and families on wound care and treatment plans
- Maintaining accurate documentation within the EMR
- Coordinating care and communicating effectively with providers and clinical staff
- Helping maintain clinic flow and ensuring a positive patient experience
Qualifications:
- Current Kansas LPN or RN license required
- Previous wound care, clinic, medical-surgical, or long-term care experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while functioning as part of a team
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
