Part-Time | Reformer & Mat Pilates
Soul Wellness Studio is seeking an experienced, certified Pilates Instructor to join our growing team. We are looking for a polished, knowledgeable professional who is passionate about Pilates, takes pride in their craft, and understands the elevated level of instruction and guest experience expected in a high-end boutique studio environment.
This is not an entry-level instructor position. Our ideal candidate has significant hands-on teaching experience and is confident working with a variety of clients while maintaining exceptional attention to form, safety, programming, and individual needs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Current, recognized Pilates certification required
- Minimum 3 years of professional Pilates teaching experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in a high-end or boutique Pilates/fitness studio environment
- Formal education and practical experience with Reformer Pilates
- Strong understanding of Pilates principles, anatomy, alignment, biomechanics, and safe movement
- Experience providing appropriate modifications and progressions for different ability levels
- Current CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain prior to employment
- Professional liability insurance or willingness to obtain if required
- Reliable transportation and consistent availability

- Can command a room while remaining approachable and encouraging
- Creates thoughtful, well-planned classes rather than relying on repetitive programming
- Prioritizes proper form, technique, safety, and the integrity of the Pilates method
- Is comfortable teaching clients with varying experience and fitness levels
- Knows how to challenge experienced clients while appropriately supporting newer clients
- Arrives prepared, polished, and on time
- Learns clients' names and works to understand their individual goals
- Creates an energetic, welcoming, and professional class environment
- Understands the importance of client retention and building relationships within a boutique studio
- Accepts coaching and feedback from studio leadership
- Works collaboratively with fellow instructors and management
- Maintains professional boundaries and respects client confidentiality
- Takes ownership of their schedule and communicates proactively
- Is interested in growing with the studio rather than simply picking up occasional classes
Responsibilities
- Teach high-quality group Reformer Pilates and/or Mat Pilates sessions
- Provide private and semi-private instruction as needed
- Develop safe, purposeful, and engaging class programming
- Provide appropriate modifications, progressions, and regressions
- Monitor client form and provide hands-on or verbal corrections when appropriate
- Create an inclusive environment for clients at different stages of their Pilates journey
- Become familiar with regular guests and help create a personalized boutique experience
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional studio environment
- Follow all Soul Wellness Studio policies, procedures, safety standards, and class protocols
- Attend required staff meetings, trainings, and continuing-education opportunities
- Represent Soul Wellness Studio professionally both inside and outside of the studio
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Comprehensive Pilates certification
- Training in Reformer, Mat, Cadillac/Tower, Chair, and additional Pilates apparatus
- Experience teaching both group and private Pilates sessions
- Experience in luxury, concierge, or high-touch boutique fitness environments
- Additional education in anatomy, mobility, corrective exercise, strength training, or related movement disciplines
- Experience working with prenatal/postpartum clients, active aging populations, athletes, or clients returning to movement
- A demonstrated commitment to continuing education

Soul Wellness Studio is a boutique Pilates and wellness studio located in downtown Greencastle, Pennsylvania. Our focus is on providing an elevated, personalized experience where clients receive exceptional instruction in a welcoming and professional environment.
